![]() We are a community and there are numerous opportunities to assist each other in reaching our potential in Christ. Volunteering opportunities also enable a person to contribute within the framework of their life journey. Receptionist Located at the church office, the Church Receptionist function is shared with a number of volunteers and performs secretarial, reception, telephone answering, clerical and cleaning functions including greeting the public in a pleasant professional manner. Interaction will also include working with numerous departments and volunteers within the church community. Notice-board / Advertising Coordinator Around the church building are numerous notice boards aimed at clearly communicating what’s happening, where and when. The boards may be used for advertising such things as community outreach; overseas missions; youth activities; training opportunities; rosters; flyers and posters; other groups such as social activities and general notices etc. To ensure that all notices are in line with the church vision, it is vital that no one except the coordinator places things directly onto the notice board(s). All items are to be submitted to the coordinator a week prior to being placed on display. This involves mowing lawns, weeding, planting, tidying up, and ensuring the property is presented well and provides a welcoming and pleasant experience for visitors. Welcoming Team Team members are also to be active in making contact with visitors during social time after church services.
