Worship Team

The Worship Team at Kingborough Family Church endeavours to   provide fresh, vibrant music for the church.  At JAM the Worship  Team spends time  learning new songs, continual training (both musical and biblical) as well as worshipping together.  If you are interested in being part of this ministry, please see Pastor Steve Van Veen.
Participants: Ages 15+
When: JAM - Thursday fortnightly from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Youth Worship Team

We have a Youth Worship Team at Kingborough Family Church who lead the worship at some Sunday Services and at the ‘Supercharge’ nights for youth.
Youth Jam aims to assist young musicians / vocalists in their journey in worship.  It provides teaching in worship as well as musicianship.  At Youth Jam, new songs are learnt for Supercharge events, and also songs that have been written by the youth are developed.
Participants: Year 7 to approx 25 years of age
When: Every second Friday 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (alternate week to Supercharge and same week as Sublime)
Location: Kingborough Family Church

Dance

Dance is part of  praise and worship to the Lord.  The dance caters for beginners through to those with more experience, with the focus being praising God through movement.
Participants: Ages 8+ to Adults
When: Weekly (during school terms) on Thursdays evenings from 7pm

Visual Arts

Visual Arts aims to enhance the worship experience at Kingborough Family Church through a variety of expressions, which include data projector stills and moving pictures, paintings, sculpture, flower arranging, staging, signage for special events, graphic design, and eventually video production; also creating ambiance and interior design decorating areas in the building to make it feel more welcoming and hospitable.  This ministry is most active around Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and any other outreach or special event.
Participants:  Those with creative ability and time in a variety of fields of artistic endeavour, and who have the ability to work under direction and with the vision of oversight.
 
Production Team

Our Production Team is broken up into Audio, CD recording, Visual and Lighting.  Our Worship Services are enhanced through ‘Powerpoint’ and video presentations together with a team of sound technicians who work for the benefit of the Worship Team and congregation.
Requirements: Willingness to commit to attending church services and worship practice
